Creating Restaurant Websites is always different and exciting. The owner of Fish Camp on Lake Eustis located in Tavares, FL bought the previously closed restaurant location. The website project was to completely re-brand the new location as a local favorite restaurant serving local food and serving the local community. MultiMedia Consulting created a brand new website with a fresh modern but local upscale place for family and friends as well as local organizations to meet, eat and greet.

The restaurant was completing re-branding itself from a previous owner. Everything was changing; from the market demographics to the menu. There was no current website but they had started a very successful Business Facebook Page. We needed to create an online brand and use the Facebook audience to build traffic to the website :
Create An Online Brand And Reputation:
Our designers concentrated on matching and using the current logo. The website needed to be upscale but convey the message of the restaurant of being locally owned, serving locally grown foods and serving locally made beers and wines.
Take Advantage of The Large Facebook Audience:
The business Facebook Page was very successful. Reviews were posted daily and we needed to take advantage of this audience and integrate it into the website.
Ease of Use of Content Management System :
Several items in the website needed to be able to be updated on a regular basis by assigned staff members. Menu changes, event calendars and photo galleries all needed to be easily updated without coding knowledge.
Creative Solutions Implemented
By using WordPress as the Content management System (CMS) staff are easily able to login and upload current photos and videos. Menu items, pricing and events can all be added per their respective category. The ability to view, and print a menu was added. We took advantage of the Facebook audience by adding current and live reviews in the footer of the website. Catering was implemented using a 3rd party catering service and the contact form is used for reservations and general questions.
The website saw immediate traffic upon launch. Reservations were being made and questions submitted almost daily. The local restaurant has a solid brand and reputation online and offline and has become a go to place for local residents, businesses and organizations.
We constantly are optimizing the website, reviewing demographics and analytics reports to drive more traffic. The restaurant has committed to a long term maintenance plan and marketing strategy.
